Hello! I'm Jerika one of the lucky scholar of La Verdad Christian College. One day I woke up with a new hope with a sparkling smile on my face that made my day complete and made me smile all the day. And here it comes the opportunity to become a student of La Verdad with the scholarship granted by Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel. Why I am here? Until now I still cant believe that I'll stand for the second stage of my life.
We all know that being a scholar is not that easy, there are so many sacrifices and problems to face. Many rely on me especially my family. I need to finished what I have started even though there comes a time that I wanna give up because of so many struggles I encountered. I miss my family especially my mother who comforts me in times of so many projects, assignments, requirements in school. The one who prepares my breakfast. My father who sends me to school. My brother and sisters who eases my stress after school. I know all of this are challenges to live without them.
Thanks be to God because when I entered to La Verdad I became Member of the Church of God International. I found the doctrines of God by the preachings of Bro. Eli Soriano.
